Cerva Group Proudly Supported Children's Art Competition!
Organized by the Research Participation in Occupational Safety as part of the European Healthy Workplace campaign, under the theme "Safe and Healthy Work in the Digital Age," the competition was held in collaboration with the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, the State Office of Labor Inspection, and the Czech-Moravian Confederation of Trade Unions. Children from primary schools, primary art schools, practical schools, and children's homes showcased their creativity through drawing, painting, and various art forms. Their artworks aimed to illustrate safe practices with digital technologies and suggest ways to simplify and improve current and future work environments.
Over a hundred schools and children's homes participated, submitting a total of 404 impressive artworks. Winners in each category, along with two special prizes for innovation and creativity, were awarded valuable prizes. Recognizing the educators who guided these talented young artists, additional awards were given to schools whose students excelled in the competition.
The awards ceremony, held on May 14, 2024, saw Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Zuzana Freitas Lopesová and Member of the Chamber of Deputies Vladimíra Lesenská presenting prizes to the winners. Deputy Minister Lopesová commended the children for their awareness of digital technologies across various sectors and praised their imaginative and forward-thinking approach in creating their entries. She expressed gratitude to the children and their teachers for their outstanding contributions.
Veronika Steinmetzová, Marketing Manager at CERVA Group, emphasized the company's commitment to occupational safety training and its importance in safeguarding people's safety, health, and lives. "CERVA Group pays considerable attention to the subject of training in the field of occupational safety, as the safety, health, and life of people is the main goal of the company," declared Steinmetzová. "It is important to instill respect for occupational safety issues from childhood. It is very good that VÚBP initiated such a competition for children, in which they learned occupational safety issues in a playful way."
